1. Faith Community Christian Academy hours are from 8:30 AM – 2:30PM. Class starts at 8:30 am and is in session until 2:30 unless otherwise noticed to parents. Children cannot be dropped off before 7:00AM and must be picked up before 2:45PM.

  2. Payment obligation is based on the complete month of attendance. If a circumstance arises and the child is no longer able to attend whether it be for the decision of the school or of the parent/guardian the will be no discounts or refunds.

  3. An annual school calendar shall be available within the first week of school.

  4. Payment is paid on a pre-payment basis. Payment is to be made by 5:00 pm on the first business day of each month. If payment is not received by 5:00 PM the first business day of each month, there will be a $ 25.00 late payment fee added to the payment. Payments may be made with a local check or cash. If any checks are returned, you will be charged an additional fee of $25.00, plus, any additional fees the bank may charge for handling the items. Checks will then no longer be acceptable as payment and only a cashier’s check, money order or cash will be accepted.

  5. If your child will be absent or arriving late, a phone call is necessary by 8:45 am. When the child returns to school a late or tardy excuse must accompany the student for the students file, OR absence is unexcused.

  6. If your child is sick, (throwing-up, fever of 100, chicken pox, etc…) your child CAN NOT!!! be brought to the school under these conditions. This also means if your child is sick through the night, the child cannot be brought to the school. If your child does become sick while at school, the school will notify you to have the child picked up, and please do so as soon as possible.

  7. State regulations states that prescription medications or aspirin shall not be given to a child, except as authorized by a licensed Physician, and with a written daily request from the parent or guardian. Non-prescription medication may be given to a child only with a written daily request from the parent or guardian. The medication should be in the original containers, with your child’s name and current exp. date.

  8. State regulations require that each child’s medical history, along with authorization for emergency medical care, permission slip for trips, be signed by the parent or guardian, and left with the school at the time of enrollment, and also that a copy of the child’s current immunization certificate, showing the child is immunized in accordance with state regulations. This shall be on file before the student is allowed to attend school. All forms are subject to a yearly renewal and must be kept up to date.

  9. Faith Community Christian Academy must have numbers where the parents or guardian can be reached, plus numbers of a personal physician or clinic. It is extremely important that these numbers be kept current, so that I may reach you when necessary, not just during emergencies.

  10. Parents must sign an emergency medical release form. In the event of a medical emergency concerning your child, the school will make every effort to contact you. In case you are not able to be reached, the school must have these signed and notarized, and kept on file in order to get medical care for your child.

  11. Please notify the school at once of you find out that your child has a contagious infection so the school may respond appropriately.

  12. Please inform the school of ANY ALLERGIES your child may have.

  13. Faith Community Christian Academy will only release children to their parents or guardian, or to persons authorized by their parent or guardian in writing.

  14. It is expected that each child be respectful to our personal property. A certain amount of wear and tear is normal, you will be required to replace any object or its value, if your child has “maliciously” broken or damaged any personal property at the school.

  15. The Disciple allowed at school is the use of time out in-school suspension and positive re-enforcement as first time or occasional offenders of behavior management. For offensive behavior there will be a 1-3 day suspension. For things such as fighting, blatant disrespect to authority or sexual acts there will be a 5 day suspension. Permanent expulsion will be for any student that repeats offensive behavior after a suspension for the same act or at the Directors discretion.

  16. No firearms, knifes, weapons, toys, gum, sweets, or food, shall be brought into the school. Water and water bottles are acceptable in some classrooms.

  17. This is a Christian school that promotes high standards and morals. These things will be discussed and part of the atmosphere here at the school. Faith Community Christian Academy is obligated to conduct itself in accordance with the Biblical teaching and will follow its Fundamental Truths as a guideline for the operation of the School.
